ULI Cleveland Young Leaders are hosting a bike tour around Ohio City. Currently abuzz with development, Ohio City is a vibrant area of Cleveland chock full of redevelopment and new construction projects designed to foster a vibrant community. Numerous stops are planned along the tour route to visit prominent development projects, where the group will hear from various speakers including stakeholders, urban planners, and developers in the area. You do not need to be a young leader to participate in the tour!
3:30 pm: Depart Market Garden
3:35-3:45 pm: Irishtown Bend, Riverview Tower and Lakeview Terrace - Tom McNair with Ohio City, Inc.
3:55-4:15 pm: The Quarter with Pete Snavely
4:15-4:30 pm: Ride to Wendy Park Bridge
4:30-4:40 pm: Ride south along Lake Link Trail to Canal Basin Park
4:45-5:00 pm: Ride from Canal Basin Park along towpath
5:00-5:15 pm: Towpath to Camp Cleveland on Towpath Trail to meet with Cory Riordan at Tremont West Development Corp
5:15-5:35 pm: Stop at Electric Gardens with Jesse Grant
5:45 pm and later: Return to Market Garden - Towpath north to Lake Link Trail to Red Line Greenway to Abbey to Market Garden
Participants will have the option to rent a bike or bring their own, this is reflected in pricing during registration. The group will start and finish at Market Garden Brewery. The event will finish with networking, complimentary appetizers, and 1 complimentary drink per attendee.
Please note, registration including bike rentals ends on September 3rd to allow enough time to reserve rental bikes. However, if you bring your own bike, you can register until September 22nd.
