These awards recognize the individuals who embody the spirit of leadership, innovation, and dedication to the mission of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) while inspiring others in the real estate and land use industry.

The Erin Ryan Emerging Leader Award honors the memory of Erin Ryan, whose dedication to ULI Cleveland made a lasting impact on both the organization and the community. Erin served as Programming Committee Co-Chair (2018-2020), Women’s Leadership Initiative Co-Chair (2020-2022), and Regional Product Council Chair (beginning in 2024).
In the spirit of Erin’s legacy, Rachael Price exemplifies the qualities of a future industry leader, bringing fresh perspectives and meaningful contributions to ULI Cleveland and the broader real estate community. This award recognizes an emerging female leader, 34 years of age or younger, who demonstrates leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing the real estate and land use industry—reflecting Erin’s passion for empowering women and shaping vibrant communities.
Rachael has been a key player at GBX Group LLC for nearly a decade, where she currently serves as a Senior Development Associate, overseeing real estate development projects from conception to final asset handoff while working closely with external partners. Previously, as a Development Associate, she played a pivotal role in managing GBX’s internal development processes and real estate projects. As a Project Manager, she led tax asset and real estate investment initiatives, performing due diligence, managing consultants, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. She notably served as Project Manager for GBX’s 50,000-square-foot headquarters development at the historic Empire Improvement Building in Cleveland’s Superior Arts District, managing a team of consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to successfully complete the award-winning project, which earned eight design and construction awards, including the AIA Ohio Architectural Design Award. She continues to oversee the building’s expansion and development. Rachael began her career at GBX as an Associate Project Manager, gaining experience in tax asset investments and real estate development initiatives across the region.
With her strong leadership, deep industry expertise, and commitment to advancing real estate development, Rachael Price is a well-deserving recipient of the 2025 Erin Ryan Emerging Leader Award.
