Quality Connected Places & Lessons Learned from Akron

ULI Cleveland explored Akron’s Historic District and why building quality connected places and the central business district is so important to community prosperity. The panel discussion took place at the charming Uncorked Wine Bar and revealed how one developer has transformed an under-performing city block by creating an entertainment and arts district; a vision that required creative financing and hard work. Participants toured the historic district after the program.
