Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) Assistant
Position Status & Payment: Contracted Part-Time (5 hours/week in-person) from June-September 2023 paid $20/hour in addition to hourly work-from-home hours, which will be pre-approved by Senior Manager not exceeding 20 hours total at a rate of $20/hour.
Position Summary: The Real Estate Diversity Initiative is a 13-week program for women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals who learn the fundamentals of real estate development. Classes take place at SITE Centers in Beachwood from 6:00-9:00 pm and 30 participants are accepted into the program annually. This position is intended to support the Executive Director during each program class date as well as support other administrative tasks related to the program during class time.
Specific Responsibilities
- In-Person Classroom Support
- Arrive in advance of each class to setup classroom and ensure technology is prepared.
- Admit students into classroom space.
- Setup and takedown event signage
- Take attendance weekly, report back on missing attendees.
- Close up space, stay until all class participants have left the building
- Maintain SITE Centers keycard to access the building
- Computer Work
- Organize current and past participant information.
- Support LinkedIn engagement with REDI participants.
- Post cohort participant information on WordPress website
- Post cohort educational materials on shared file site
- Organization
- Connect with program instructors in advance of each class, send follow ups to instructors following the class.
- Event Support
- Setup and manage happy hour kickoff and final graduation. Arrange for appropriate food and beverage service as agreed upon by Senior Manager.
- Create event badges utilizing Netforum
- Be on-site at event to setup any supplies and arrange any logistics.
- Assist with coordination with event site hosts,
- Writing Skills
- Draft social media content for program to post on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
- Write articles about class participants, program content, or ULI Cleveland programming as it relates to the REDI program.
Participant must supply their own computer and have their own vehicle to drive to and from SITE Centers. Free parking is available on-site at SITE Centers. This position will be required to work in-person from 5:00-10:00 pm at SITE Centers in Beachwood on the following dates unless otherwise noted.

- September 24 from 4:00-9:00 pm, setup from 4:00-6:00 pm
