Responsibilities
Our Real Estate team has in-depth experience with tax compliance and planning, including technical partnership issues, Qualified Opportunity Zones, various tax credits, and other incentives. Beyond just getting the numbers right, team members work closely with developers and investors to better understand their business objectives and to assist in proactively identifying opportunities. We currently have a specialized opportunity for an individual to join our Real Estate focused team with expertise with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). An individual, ideally at the Senior Manager level, with low income housing tax credit expertise would round out the experience of the team. This position could reside in any of the following office locations:
- Chicago, Illinois
- Detroit or St. Clair Shores, Michigan
- Akron, Cleveland, or Youngstown, Ohio
Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of recent public accounting experience
- CPA, JD, or EA designation
- Have an understanding of financial models syndicating Low-income Housing Tax Credits
